The June 2019 Edition of Patent, Trademark, and Copyright Laws adds the following new developments:
- The text of the fiscal year 2019 appropriations for the United States Patent and Trademark Office, as set forth in Public Law 116-6, which was signed into law on February 15, 2019
- Updated text relating to the Plant Variety Protection Act to reference changes set forth in Public Law 115-334, which was enacted on December 20, 2018, to provide protection for asexually reproduced plants
The accompanying CD-ROM contains the full text of the book and additional useful material, such as the Rules of Practice of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, key international treaties, and legislative history relating to patent reform proposals.
The June 2019 Edition adds to the CD-ROM: the April 2019 report of the Register of Copyrights regarding protection of moral rights in the U.S.; the April 2019 report of the National Institute of Standards and Technology on the state of American innovation; and the text of the Draft Outline of Reform of Section 101 of the Patent Act.
